The CWF Game Cast has completed its update from its 2.3.1 version of WordPress to 2.3.2. Why do this, you may ask. Instead of trying to explain it all to you, the WordPress people did a great job of it already.
Please read WordPress 2.3.2 at the official WordPress blog. That explains all the reasons why we updated.
The upgrade went through without a hitch. Also today I picked up the January 2008 issue of White Dwarf, be sure to look for our Inside White Dwarf and White Dwarf Quick Picks articles coming soon, and it looks quite interesting. I’ll spend some time reading it on Sunday and Monday. Additionally, I finally purchased a World of Warcraft Playmat. I’ve been trying to get one for several months and even used some of my UDE Points to order a Fires of Outland Playmat back in November.
But tonight I tired of the 4-6 week delivery time, as of tonight the playmat still has not been shipped, and picked up a March of the Legion Playmat at Battleground Games. It went for $24.95 and I don’t think that is too bad at all. I haven’t seen this one for sale online at all and I believe it was given out at regionals. I can’t wait to start using this playmat in my games. When my opponents see it they will know that Ta’zo is on his way. All fear the mighty Ta’zo. Yes, I can’t wait to use this mat. It will be quite nice.

- New Releases - The Blood Bowl Omnibus p. 8. Blood Bowl is a great game and being able to read three great novels combined into one for $11.99 is a great buy.
- Apocalypse Battle Report - Valley of Blood p. 18-37. The Apocalypse batreps are incredibly reading. This one shows a game played at a level most players can mimic. I want some Area Denial Nodes.
- Middle-Earth in Flames p. 40-49. Campaign rules are always fun reading. Roughly 26% of you guys love to play in leagues. There’s something about a league that breathes life into a game. Map campaigns are really good at this and this is a great introduction to LoTR campaign play.
- Golden Demon 2007 p. 66-75. Some of the nicest painted models I have ever seen. I love the France, Italy, and Gamesday LA winners.
- Ordering Direct p. 130-135. There are some great gift ideas for all price ranges. Now is to buy what your favorite gamer wants.

Our top pick is the Modelling Workshop: Building the Baneblade (Part One).
- New Releases - High Elf Lord on Dragon p. 4-5. This is such a great plastic model and you have a ton of options for just $45. It is truly a highlight of the new HE range.
- Battle Report - Invasion of Yvresse p. 46-65. Batreps make great reading while on break at work or trying to discover new tactics. This one is quite exciting.
- Lord of the Rings Tactica: Monsters p. 80-85. There’s some great suggestions for using LoTR monsters, which carry over to other systems too. Remember the Monster ABCs!
- Modelling Workshop: Building the Baneblade (Part One) p. 86-93. This step by step assembly walk through is a gem. Many players will be fielding the new plastic Baneblade in Apocalypse battles. Now, they can learn the best way to put it together.
- Chicago Golden Demon Honorable Mentions p. 113-114. The plethora of primarchs is truly impressive. Lionel Johnson, Khan, and many more. They all look incredible!
