Jonathan and Mike regale us with tales from Council of Five Nations, games played, ideas formed and friendships tested over the battlefield.
Another Convention
Council of Five Nations is the SWA’s annual gaming convention, held every year in early Autumn. It is one of the longest-running adventure gaming conventions in the world. the 40th Council was held on Sept 29-Oct 1, 2017. The group is focused on quality gaming and on growing the community as their philosophy states “Council strives toward the goal of “quality over quantity”. We’re a medium-sized con, but we try to have top-notch events. We predict an attendance of about 350 this year. As with all the Councils over the years, our goal is a nice balance between role-play games, miniatures, board games and other stuff.”
Jonathan and Mike give their thoughts into how the feel of the con meets those who attended, the auction and the games. See if they match up to what they strived to do.
Recent Gaming

A place for listeners to hang out, chat about the hobby and the show. We have seen some great discussions lately. Some members have shared pics of minis they’re painting and had a lively discussion about wet palettes. Want to thank Enfilade & NHMGS for making it possible for us to back a wet palette Kickstarter. We will do a big Wet Palette episode in 2017 because of their support.
