Hi Jonathan and gang,
Long time listener, first time poster!
I’ve been listening to, and enjoying, your podcast now for about a year. Great job!
I had to email after listening to episode 218 which was fantastic. I listen while I drive around the UK to get to different assignments and this episode had me laughing out loud while driving through the busy morning traffic. Definitely my favourite episode to date.
Not only was it very interesting to hear about the Dungeon World RPG system, but I also loved hearing about the adventure you were all going on. Now, hearing about other people’s RPGing can be boring, but in this case I was left wanting to know more! I really hope you’ll consider doing an episode in the future to update us on how things are going with those witches :-).
Keep up the great work and pass on my compliments to the team.
Best regards,
Andy Bartlett (Worcester in the UK).
Hi Andy. Can’t believe I didn’t reply to your comment. Honestly thought I had. Agree with you that there’s a reason why “let me tell you about my character” or “let me tell you about my campaign” are tropes in the geekiverse now. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback to the Dungeon World episode, which has made us quite chuffed. We weren’t sure whether we should even do that one as it is a roleplaying game and who would want to hear about our campaign?
Alex, in particular, was happy because RPGs are his mainstay. I’d love to discuss Dungeon World more on the show. The three of us genuinely have a great time together. The GM nicely fits in, too, so we’re a pretty happy group. We can discuss Dungeon World for as long as you and listeners like you want to hear it. Please write to us any time. Don’t be a stranger.
