We have new Intelligence Briefing as well, this features some more of Scott Elaurant’s work on the Eastern Front pockets of early 1944. This time he looks at the history of Schwere Panzerregiment Bäke and how to field it in Flames Of War.

The Firestorm Saga
Open Fire! contains a mini-rulebook, a introductory guide to Flames Of War,three Sherman tanks and two StuG assault guns. It’s a great way to get started with Flames Of War. The greatest thing is that Flames Of War is now available in French, German, Italian and Spanish for the first time!

|Schwere Panzerregiment Bäke
Schwere Panzerregiment Bäke was formed in late 1943 from independent units and portions of larger formations in reserve that were hurriedly flung together to act as a mobile reserve. They took part in the fighting for both the Korsun and Hube’s pockets in early 1944.
