On October 25, 2014 Jonathan is participating in the Extra Life 24 hour game-a-thon to raise money for Boston Children’s Hospital. This fundraiser provides the money so that no child is turned away regardless of their family’s financial situation.
Children’s Hospital has done so much for my little cousin Gracie in her battle against CF. She is routinely admitted to the hospital to get her lungs cleaned out. It isn’t a pleasant experience for anyone nevermind a young kid. But Children’s has always gone above and beyond to turn this scary disease into something less frightening for my cousin.
My heart broke when I found out how many kids don’t get treatment because their families cannot afford to pay. Thankfully Extra Life helps those kids in need.
I’m just $30 away from my goal!
PLEASE consider making a DONATION
Listener Dave painted the above 28mm metal Perry Miniatures Napoleonic French Cuirassier Trumpeter (5th Regiment). He is auctioning it on eBay. All proceeds, excluding shipping, will then be donated on my behalf to the Extra Life 24hr Game-a-thon fundraiser to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital.
Please consider BIDDING on this gorgeous model. Don’t forget to tell your friends about the auction. Together we can help some kids in need.
More photos can be found in the eBay listing or on our FACEBOOK page. Many thanks to Dave for his generosity. This is truly a beautiful model.
